Welcoming Opal's New Executive Director

October 22 2024

Opal Center welcomes theater educator, director, and producer Maya Burton as our new executive director. In her own words;

"What an honor to be invited to lead such a beloved piece of Cottage Grove's artistic heart. As a theater maker myself, Opal Center is a dream space for new and seasoned artists to flex their creative muscles. I look forward to ushering Opal into a new area of purposeful, brave and community-centered programming that will both honor past works and draw us towards a bold future. Dare to create!"
