The Roommate

Middle-aged and recently divorced, Sharon needs a roommate to share her sedate, Iowan home. She gets more than she bargains for when Robyn, a Bronx-tough, vegetarian lesbian, shows up at her door. As Sharon learns of Robyn’s past and secrets, she’s inspired to break free of her former life with passionate and sometimes dangerous abandon. The Odd Couple meets Breaking Bad, The Roommate is a wickedly funny and astute observation on transformation, friendship, and the thrill of starting over.

The show runs 90 minutes without an intermission. Characters smoke three times on stage using a vape pen and an herb cigarette.
